Room 12
Here's an short fan fic of mine. hope you like it.
It was the first day of Seb's vacation in the nord of France. He got one week free and he decided to travel to his Aunt Cécile.
She's got an house with some guests rooms which she rented over the holiday months.Since his aunt leaved for some holidays in St.Tropez, he could live in one of the guests rooms.
He wanted to be alone.. just for one week, to relax from all the stress of the World tour and all.
As much he enjoyed to be part of Il Divo.. the much he missed the simpel things on life.
His aunts house was on full French country .the next city was about 100km's far away.His Mum's sister told Seb that it had enough food for over 2 weeks on the house, so he shouldn't have any worries about that.
''It's here, you can stop'' he said to the taxi driver, who stopped on the entry of the old house, Seb paid him,gave him some tip and took his luggage.
As he stood on front of the door he remembered that the key was under a stone just on the right of the door, he took the key and opened.
He entered the house, though it was more a sort of old villa. he walked the stairs up and searched for his room .On the door of the room number 11 was sticked a notice...
My Sweetest, Dearest Titi...
I choose this room for you. i think you'll like the view of the wood and the little river (Sometimes the cows of Mister Bonvin are there too) I hope you'll like your holiday here.

Seb smiled as he read the little paper with the notice and entered his room.
On the middle standed an antique bed in the style of Louis XIV, the whole room was on that style.
On the left was the door to the bathroom.As Seb finnished unpacking his luggage, he walked down the stairs to his aunt's kitchen to prepare himself a nice dinner.As he finnished, he got up and took a book from the little bibliotheque and walked again to his room and began to read it while lying on his bed. The hours passen by and he glanced at his watch
"Mh, already 12 o'clock" Seb said and wanted to go to sleep.
But he heard a silent crying from the room number 12,the room besides his one
"How hell can that be ?'' Seb asked himself,Since his aunt told him that he was the only one living in the house. Seb stood up and opened the door of his room, He walked quikly to the one were the noises where coming from.
He opened slowly the door to discover a young woman, who was sitting on her bed and cried quite hard.
"What are you doing here ?" She asked him as she lifted her eyes
"I'm doing holidays on a house which's supposed to be empty" The French said a bit intrigued.
"Apparently it isn't as empty as you may think" The Lady said and wiped some tears from her face away.She had long, dark red hairs with some curls, Her large eyes where green with some touches of Olive in it. She seemed pretty to Sebastien
"I'm sorry for my mistake.. If you need any help I'm in room 11.." Seb said while bitting a bit his lip
"Thank you.. By the way i'm Amalia" The woman said and smiled slightly
"Pleased to meet you.. I'm Sebastien but you can call me Seb" The man said.
"Okey Seb..Goodnight" Amailia said and laughed a bit at the, for her, strange name of the guy
"Good night " Sebastien said and closed the door.
"Strange I didn't saw her before today.. And I wonder why she was crying so hard." Seb thought before he closed his eyes and felt asleep.
The Next Morning.
Sebastien woke up.. He asked himsel if he dreamed everything who happened last night or.. If the red haired beauty was real.After that he got up The french walked downstairs to the kitchen to do himself a coffee.
''Ha, I'm silly. I dreamed everything'' Seb told himself as he entered the kitchen with a smile. ''Now I just need to know where the coffe is'' He thought and looked around. A Multitude of drawers where in the kitchen. He opened one and found.. the empty trash trail.
'
'Would you like a coffe ?'' A voice behind Seb said and made him jump of scaring
"Amalia !" He exclamed as he turned around.
"Yes.. That's my name.. And yours is Sebastien..''She said and laughed a bit.
"Uhm I may think that i know this... But i just thought I dreamed about you..eerm i mean I thought that I dreamed everything last night" Sebastien tried to explain and blushed a bit.
"It's ok.. So.. Would you like a coffee now since you don't seem totaly awake to me" Amalia Said as she pointed to his clothes and giggled : He was still wearing the boxer shorts and the white t-shirt who he used to sleep with.
"Eeerm.. Y-Yes I would need a coffee i think.." The man tried to say. Amalia just smiled and poured him a coffee
"Very well done.. She sure thinks now that i'm a total idiot.. When I don't have Urs glued to my butt who tells me that I need to be in time It seems to me that I forget everything'' Seb thought and sat on a chair. Amalia glanced out of the window with a sad look into her eyes, it was raining outside quite hard and the sky was grey.
"I know it's a stupid question..And you don't need to answer if you don't want to, but why were you crying last night ?'' Sebastien asked and looked into her dark green eyes, who seemed to have a sad story hidden behind it.
She just looked down as a tear runned down her cheek.
"Hey don't cry.." Seb said as he stood up to reassure her.
"He's gone ! I want him back ! I don' want anymore to be alone !" She exclamed, Sebastien glanced into her eyes filled with tears.
"Amalia.. please don't cry anymore... Forget my question.."Seb tried to say as she burried her face on his chest.
"No.. It's no your fault..It's just..my fiancé suicided himself in this house, three years ago."Amalia explained and laid her head against his shoulder.Seb excused himself for the question and wrapped his arms around her.
After a little while Seb gently pulled apart her and smiled slightly.
"You're so kind, you shouldn't have to be like this" Amalia said as she wiped the last tears from her face away.
"But I want to be like this".
In the next two weeks, they were getting to know each other better and better each day. They talked much with eachother and were often going out for walks in the wide nature.
On the evening before Seb had to leave..............
"Hey" He greeted when he entered her room
"Hi Seb" She said when she glanced at him. she was sitting on her bed writting something down on a paper.
"Wanted to say goodbye to you, maybe we won't see eachother tomorrow." He said as he sat besides her.
"Oh true you're leaving tomorrow..Time goes by fast" She sighed and glanced into his eyes.
"indeed..Well i wanted to thank you since you've been very nice during those two weeks and...."
He stopped as he got lost in her smile, her deep green eyes, her scent.
His lips meet hers for a few seconds, he stopped but didn't pull back, Amalia responsed by another kiss, wrapping slowly her arms around him before pushing him softly back a little while after.
"I'm sorry, i shouldn't have..." Seb tried to explain as he blushed sliglty and let his fingers runs nervously through his hair.
"Don't be sorry..I..I liked it" She said with a smile on her face and moved a little closer to Sebastien and leaned her head against his chest.He placed a tender kiss on her forehead and they slept in like this, close to eachother.
The next morning
Seb woke up alone. He saw the bathroom door slightly opened so he thought Amalia was taking a shower. He walked to his room and put on some other clothes.
Some moments after he heard a noise in the kitchen downstairs. Seb knew his aunt was coming back from Holidays today so he walked downstairs to greet her.
"Titi !" The eldery woman shout as she saw him.
"Auntie Cecile, how are you ? Had a good holiday ?" He asked as he gave her a hug
"I had a good holiday, thank you ,my dear. and yourself ?" She asked as Seb grabbed her suitcase and both of them walked upstairs
"Good too, thanks. But you didn't told me someone had rent a room" Seb said with a smile
"What ? Nobody rent a room for the time you were here Titi" Cecile said with a puzzled look on her face.
"I swear here was someone ! A woman..but wait you can meet her, she's still here." Seb said and posed the suitcase.
He walked to the room number twelve, but as he glanced at it, his jaw soon dropped to the floor: The door seemed old, Not opened since years. He tried to open it but it was locked
"It can't be that room Titi" His aunt said and shook his head "You must be wrong."
"No aunt ! I swear she rent this room !" He said, still trying to open the door.
Cecile just pushed him a little to the side and took her kay ring with the large amount of keys on it out of her pocket.She took the key of the number 12 on it and opened the door with it.
Sebastien couldn't believe his eyes.The room seemed that nobody entered him since eterneties ! Over all the fournitured were put white blankets,In the corners spiders did their webs.
"But..That can't be ! Amalia ! Amalia ! " He shouted while he walked through the room, opening every door of the room
"Titi...Would you like to come with me into the kitchen ?" Cecile asked seriously and held him by his arm
As they were in the kitchen..................
Seb's aunt put her glasses on and opened an old book.She searched for an specific place in the book.
"I don't know how an old book could help me.."Seb said in a annoyed voice while he sat on the chair besides her.
"Patience, Titi, patience.." Seb answered. "Here we go ! Was this that woman you meant ?" Cecile exclamed and pointed at an very old picture in black and white in the book.
"Yes !! that's Amalia !" Sebastien shouted as he literaly sprung off his chair.
He saw Amalia wearing an antique dress, sitting on a chair, besides her was a young man, wearing clothes from many years ago too.
"Titi...the woman you saw was an ghost." Cecile said and laid her hand on her nephew's shoulder.
"Well aunt, might be that i return next year." Seb said in front of the the cab which was waiting for him.
"See you next time my dear, take care"Cecile said and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
Sebastien waved her goodbye as the cab started to drive away.He glanced a last time at the old house and sighed. He would never going to forget who he meet here.
Cecile explained to hew nephew that Amalia, or better said her ghost, returned every year for exaclty two weeks here.
But since the family was every year always on vacation and nobody was renting rooms at the time of the year, no one ever noticed the ghost.
Both of them,Amalia and her fiancee, suicided themselves three houndred years ago because their parents were against the relation ship. But since there Amalia's ghost was never going to find peace until a man with a true heart will spend the night in the room in which she took her life away, the room number 12.
